What's New Blog: Color Vote Soon!

Sorry for not posting. You guys should check out the Music Jam party that's in CP right now! I will have the free items and things later ;)

Right now, check out what the What's New Blog has to say:

Hello Penguins!

You guys left a lot of comments in last week's Reviewed By You post about how cool it'll be to vote for another penguin color! We think it's great that you love to choose stuff (like the time you picked the new name for Ballistic Biscuit, the Penguin Play Awards, and the "You Decide" blogs), and we're excited to see which color you'll vote for.

The booth will be in the Forest starting this Friday until Tuesday, July 28!

In Other News: The Penguin Tales writing contest begins this Thursday. All the topics and details about how to submit your creative stories will be in this week's Club Penguin Times, so start thinking about what the topics might be! (Did someone say something about "Hiking Vikings?")

Until then...Waddle on!

-Club Penguin Team

Saweet! I can't wait for the voting booth! I've decided what color to vote for and that is....lavender!! What color are you going to vote for?
Also I can't wait for the Penguin Tales! That is such a fun play and this time I might get the sheep costume...LOL :)

Other news (off subject of CP): Have you guys heard of U.B. Funkeys? Well I got one yesterday and it's fun! I got a Funkey Hub (the large U.B. Funkey which connects to the computer and you can put Funkeys on top) and also the Funkeys Vroom and Lotus. Check out the U.B. Funkeys Site to try a demo!! (I'm also starting a blog HERE)

New Newspaper and Reviewed by You

Hey penguins! There is a new newspaper that came out today!

The Music Jam will be here tomorrow! Woot!

Here is what the article above says:

Music Jam kicks off with a bang July 17! Be the star of your own show- make sure you pick up an instrument from Backstage or the Gift Shop and play it all around the island.

"It's bigger and better than ever before!" said a penguin in the know. "There are different stages and a variety of music, so use your map to get around and explore. There's so much to fit in. Be sure to check the highlights on the following page!"

A construction penguin gave us a sneak peek. "Iv'e just been putting a new stage together at the Lighthouse," he told us, "and I can tell you it's looking pretty awesome. You'll need to team up with buddies with several instruments to get the full effect."

Members can see everything by purchasing an All Access Pass from the merchandise booth, starting July 17, in the Snow Forts. Rock the island!

Here is some news about the Music Festival:

These are CP's top 5 favorites:

Lighthouse- Bubble-Pop: Pop stars are partying at the Beach and rocking the Radical Stage in the Lighthouse!

Dock- Main Stage: From Rock to Western, mix up your week by playing something different every day!

Ice Berg- Penguin Band: The boys are back in town! Don't miss Club Penguin's super group - Penguin Band!

Cove- Easy Island Music: Shake your maracas and get jamming to the smooth sound down at the Cove!

Ski Village- Orca-Straw: Whale I never! Create a symphony of sound with your instruments in the Ski Village.

We get to pick out a new color! Saweet!

In the Newspaper, here is what the article says about voting for a new penguin color:

Exciting news from the Gift Shop: from July 24-29 a brand new penguin color will be put to the vote!

It has been nearly 3 years since penguins chose a color, so this is a grand occasion! Back in November 2006 we picked zingy lime green. This year's choice between lavender, marroon and aqua is causing lots of excitement in the Plaza.

We spoke to penguins on the street. "Awesome! More choice for sports teams!" cheered an athlete, "Brilliant! It'll let me match all kinds of new outfits!" said a fashion princess. "Vote maroon!" shouted a pizza chef, "Pizza sauce stains don't show up when you spill it!"

The winning color will appear in the new Penguin Style catalog on August 7. So waddle to the voting booth at the Plaza and have your say!

Here is this week’s Classified Folder news:

Also here are the events:

Music Jam '09: July 17-26; Rock out with gigs all over the island!

Music Catalog: July 17-26; Use your All Access Pass to get Backstage and get your flippers on new instruments!

Color Vote: July 24-29; Lavender, Maroon, or Aqua - you decide!

Better Igloos Catalog: July17-Auguest 20; Update your igloo with brand new furniture!

Find the Collectible Pin: Dojo Lantern in the Cave (Pool) is hidden now until July 17th; Next Pin Hidden on July 17-30

And finally this week’s Reviewed by You from the What’s New Blog:
Hello Penguins!

It's almost here! The Music Jam kicks off tomorrow and there were lots of cool answers to last week's question about how you guys are getting ready for it. Here's one we liked from Otter's Rule:
Me and my friends are all getting ready for the Music Jam Party already. We've got all of our instruments gathered up and have already started practicing! We have these rockin' cool outfits too. I think this Music Jam will be the biggest party on Club Penguin yet! We've also planned to meet the Penguin Band backstage. We can hardly wait for this rockin' cool party! Waddle On!
Thanks - Sounds like you're ready for the party!
The team's getting pretty excited around here because next Friday, July 24, you'll be able to go to a voting booth in the Forest and choose a BRAND NEW penguin color!! Here they are:

So - this week, we want to know which color you're thinking you might vote for... Do you like the Lavender, Maroon, or Aqua? And why?
Thanks for keep your responses between 50 - 75 words!
Until then...Waddle on!
-Club Penguin Team

That’s all for now! Waddle on!
